Substance Painter and Marmoset Test and familiarity with the programs

During the Black Friday sale I purchased several programs. Substance Indie Pack and Marmoset were two of those programs. This is just a quick test render of an asset I created several months ago and never got around to texturing. Most of this is a base along with base materials. There is plenty to do.

A good friend has been a leaning shoulder through out this learning process. Thanks Dennis Porter for the guidance and support. I will hopefully finish it sometime this week and move on to somthing much bigger... and character oriented :)

Brink Bust Fan Art

Okay, so here it is finished. As always learned a lot about rendering skin in Marmoset and about different maps that can be applied to a living creature. Hope you like it!

The concept is not my own and belongs to the Brink franchise.

Brink Concept Bust

8 hrs to sculpt and 4 hours to render and create maps. This is very experimental, and simply learning a lot. I will post up the final image soon with the sculpt and textures.

Hair Sculpt for DLC 10

This past DLC I was responsible with coming up for some hair design for the Amazon females. After speaking to Alison and Karen from work, I ended up at these. Hope you like!

These were made to be stylized... a bit.

Bounty Hunter Bot WIP 01

I just recently started this guy up and currently on the blocking out phase. This piece is called Bounty Hunter Bot, and it was made by an extremely talented concept artist by the name of Raveneau Pierre . This will be the first of many pieces to hopefully go on my actual website which is still in the making.

Digital Painting Practice

I needed a break from modeling, so I decided to practice a little digital painting. These concepts are not my own but instead from the very talented L D Austin. Each one took roughly 1 1/2 hrs.

Zsketch, 4 hr exercise for wrinkles

Well it seems almost all artist but me have an alien in their portfolio, so I decided to sculpt one this weekend. As mentioned it took 4 hrs to do. Just looking to practice some wrinkles. I will attempt to polypaint him and give him a decent render. Thanks for watching!

ZBrush Central Competition for Dragon Ball Z

I feel I have gotten to a level in my skills where I feel comfortable posting in public sites. Therefore I have decided to start out with a competitions. This would give me more exposure and a slight possibility of maybe placing which would help greatly with exposure, something a staring artist needs!

My version of Super Majin Buu. Much older, more experienced, and far more serious than ever. Hope you like and feel free to comment.

Final Render and Composite! Done in ZBrush and Photoshop. Huge learning experience! Before this I knew nothing about rendering or compositing. But with the help or a few great online tutorials I managed to achieve a pretty good render for a first timer. Hope you like!
